What Is Pornography?
Pornography can appear in many different forms. The most well-known form is what is commonly referred to as “porn” (videos), in which people are filmed while engaging in sexual acts.
This also includes comics, drawings, or animations (Hentai / cartoons) that contain sexual content.
When Is Pornography Illegal?
For children and young people under the age of 18, it is prohibited to view or possess pornographic content. Forwarding or sending such content to other children or young people is also a criminal offense. Once you turn 18, it is up to you whether or not you want to watch pornography. Although it is no longer prohibited, consuming pornography can still be harmful.
As soon as children or young people are shown in sexual situations, this constitutes child or youth pornography. Simply viewing, saving, or sending such content is a criminal offense – regardless of your own age. Animal pornography and violent pornography are also included.
What Should You Do If Someone Sends You Pornography?

You do not need to watch the content until the end. Even if you only suspect that it may contain pornographic material, this is enough to report it.
